I like this guy with a girlfriend...?

He's actually not just some guy. I used to live in So Cal and we were really good friends. We kinda grew up together. For one reason or another I had to move away and we lost contact. Recently, we came back into contact and we're always texting and calling each other before bed. He's a really sweet guy. He trusts me with everything. The problem is, he has a girlfriend.



I'm really not the kind of person who would want to wreck a relationship. And don't get me wrong, that's not what I'm going to do now...I just don't know what to do. I told him how I was feeling and that because of that we shouldn't speak on the phone and just stick to texting. He got really upset and sounded like he was going to cry.



Now, I'm moving back to So Cal [where he lives] in about a year. When I told him we should stop talking because of my feelings for him and because he has a girlfriend and it makes me feel guilty he just said ';A lot could change in a year. I may not be with her when you come down, so why do we have to stop talking.';



I'm trying to do the right thing...help me please.I like this guy with a girlfriend...?
Well he sounds like a bad boyfriend to her in the first place.

So he'll probably end up leaving her now the question is would you want a boyfriend who might do the same thing to you?
